Isuzu light trucks respond well to tuning.

The factory calibration has to cover every truck in the range, every application and every market it's sold into. That's a broad brief. Yours does one job, and there's room to tune for it properly.

What you get out of it

More power and torque, delivered where the engine spends its working life rather than at a peak figure on paper. Better throttle response. Improved fuel economy, particularly on trucks doing consistent work over the same routes.

Manual or auto, loaded or empty, town work or highway — we calibrate to suit how the truck is actually used.

How we do it

We identify the engine and check the compliance plate before anything else. Isuzu has run the same engines across long production spans with different power ratings, different emissions hardware and different transmissions behind them. Two trucks that look identical on the outside can need very different files.

Every truck is tuned on the dyno and on the road. The dyno gives us controlled, repeatable conditions to develop the file. The road tells us how it behaves in the work it actually does — under load, on the throttle, through the gears. We don't sign a truck off on one without the other.

We tune within what the driveline and after-treatment system are designed to handle. The truck stays compliant and stays roadworthy.
