The Stage 2 upgrade for the Silverado 1500 6.2L involves removing the standard cat-back exhaust and installing 4-into-1 headers (extractors) and high-flow metallic catalytic converters. The process is finalized with a road test to ensure optimal performance and drivability.
Cat-back Exhaust System
The cat-back system includes all parts of the exhaust after the catalytic converters, where the mufflers are located. By using larger diameter pipes and high-flow mufflers, we enhance both performance and sound.
Headers & High-Flow Cats
Our headers feature a 4-1 design, which has consistently shown better performance over the tri-y design. They are available in various sizes to suit different engine modifications. The high-flow catalytic converters are available in 100 cpi or 200 cpi (cells per inch) and are built with a durable coated metal catalyst matrix. The catback exhaust connects to the catalytic converters.
