There are several reasons why you might consider increasing the GVM of your vehicle. Whether you're towing a horse float, caravan, or loaded with farm or work equipment, our Walkinshaw engineering team offers a reliable solution.

Our GVM upgrade raises the allowable Gross Vehicle Mass of your Chevrolet Silverado 1500 beyond 1 tonne, enabling you to confidently carry larger loads legally and safely, while enhancing handling and performance.

  • Increase GVM from 3300kg to 3652kg.
  • Increase GCM from 6851kg to 7512kg.
  • The kit can be installed either pre-registration (SSM) or post-registration.

Please note: wheel/tyre option is available exclusively for MY19-MY22 LTZ models. 

**GCM increases with SSM; consult your local certification engineer for post-registration requirements.

*NOT compatible with MY24 models.
