Our Stage 6 upgrade for the VF 6.0L begins with installing a Harrop FDFI-2300 intercooled supercharger kit. This upgrade includes replacing the standard air box with an ‘Over the Radiator’ Cold Air Induction system and a high-flow, serviceable air filter element. We then custom-tune your vehicle's ECU on the dyno using advanced software to optimize power, torque, and fuel efficiency.
Following the dyno tuning, we conduct rigorous road testing to fine-tune your vehicle's performance and drivability. This process typically takes four to five days, after which you'll receive a detailed dyno graph illustrating the increased power and torque of your vehicle. Flex Fuel (E85) is available as an option—please consult with our Sales Representatives for more information.
Cold Air Intake
The Harrop ‘Over the Radiator’ Air Induction (OTR) system features a wide, unobstructed intake path designed to maximize airflow efficiency. Positioned in front of the engine's throttle body, it draws cooler air directly from the grille opening, minimizing intake restrictions and eliminating the ingestion of hot engine bay air.
Supercharger
The FDFI-2300 intercooled supercharger, engineered by Harrop, employs an advanced Eaton 4-lobe rotor design with a 160-degree twist, meeting exacting OEM standards for performance and reliability. Utilizing an integral water-to-air intercooler system, it effectively manages air temperature to optimize engine performance. The designation '2300' denotes the volume of air displaced per revolution, ensuring potent performance enhancements.
Dyno Tuning
Through meticulous adjustment of engine tune parameters tailored for 98-octane fuel, we enhance power, torque, and fuel efficiency significantly. Depending on the vehicle platform, supplementary mechanical upgrades to intake and exhaust systems may be recommended for optimal results.
